I am a porphyric with Asperger's Syndrome. Porphyria is a disorder that gave rise to the vampire and werewolf myths. I am highly allergic to sunlight and I'm hairy like a wolfperson. I have no relationships, never have had one, I think this is due to the fact that I have hair and act out of the ordinary. Porphyria makes me a nighttime person, and I have other things that people would find repulsive, like eating raw meat and having cravings for blood. This is a normal porphyric behavior and is the reason my ancestors were murdered and burned in the medievil ages. The blood craving is cause by the bidy not being able to make normal blood, the heme (the red stuff) of the blood can't be produced without porphyrins... a normal part of the body that helps make the red part of the blood. When a porphyric is in sunlight, they make too many porphyrins and the body attacks the substance, causing an allergic reaction and weakness, along with the thirst for blood to make up for the blood that couldn't be made because all the porphyrins were eliminated.
The Asperger's Syndrome is a highly functional form of Autism, and until recently (re-discovered in 1981 with 1940 research done by Hans Asperger and finally put into official record in 1994) had been ignored by the American government. I was diagnosed in the 6th grade and I found out it was the reason all the other kids didn't want to be around me and why they always beat me up so severely. It was the fear that humans have for things that aren't like them, the reason thousands die at the hand of their own kind. It's the reason people like me tend to stay alone and secluded from society.
Anyway, other than those two problems I am generally easy to get along with. I love to hunt (more like a Predator) and fish. I also like to hang out with my closest friends and do fun things at night when the sun is down and everyone else is sleeping. I enjoy medievil activities such as archery, herblore, and swordsmanship. My hobbies include writing screenplays, designing videogames and creatures, and learning about things most people would find absolutely useless.
